With over 100 people registered for Silicon Valley Bicyle Coallition’s annual ride, Bike to the Future, is more than just a celebration of cycling—it’s a powerful call to action. They’re working to raise $60,000 to fund critical advocacy efforts, with a primary focus on reimagining El Camino Real as a multi-use corridor featuring protected bike lanes, safe pedestrian pathways, and zero traffic fatalities.
There are route options for every rider, regardless of age or ability:
- 5 miles – Family-friendly and beginner-ready
- 15 miles – A meaningful ride featuring a stretch along El Camino Real
- 30 miles – A scenic mix of city streets and trail
- 62 miles (Metric Century) – For those looking for a challenge
