BORP in partnership with the Contra Costa Transportation Authority are excited to offer three events. Each are geared towards introducing Contra Costa Residents to Adaptive Cycling. WHO IS THIS FOR?
No experience needed, beginner friendly! Staff will match you to the right bike and get you moving at your own pace. Open to people of all ages with a wide variety of disabilities. Family and friends welcome.

Aug 21 | 3 – 6 PM | Bay Point Bay Point Regional Shoreline Park
Central County: Bay Point Regional Shoreline Meet at Bay Point Regional Shoreline Park, located along the waterfront near Suisun Bay. The park offers convenient parking, restrooms, and direct access to nearby trail connections, making it an ideal staging area for folks that are new to Adaptive Cycling. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/56180038
Sep 18 | 3 – 6 PM | El Cerrito El Cerrito Plaza Bart Parking
West County: Ohlone Greenway Meet at the El Cerrito Plaza BART Station parking area. This ride follows the Ohlone Greenway, a landscaped multi-use path that parallels the BART corridor through El Cerrito and Albany. Riders will travel north along the Greenway to Del Norte BART Station before returning along the same route, making this an easy out-and-back ride with convenient access to transit, restrooms, and nearby amenities.
