Are you a therapist who likes to bike? Check out this group ride series, kicking off Sunday, Sept. 20 from 2-5:30pm. Expect mostly flat, 8-12 mile routes with a chill pace designed for the therapist community looking to recharge in community.
There will be other rides on October 18 (Rockridge BART) and November 8 (Ashby BART). The best place to find details is: https://www.eastbaytherapistcommunity.com/events/soicalbikerideseptemberÂ
From the organizers:
This event is free to attend, as we believe in making the benefits of social and environmental enrichment accessible to all. A suggested donation of $5–$25 is encouraged for our ride leader to support her time and expertise. Donate what you can.
We want to learn about you and your practice. Early registrants have the option to be introduced to the other riders through email to help you know your fellow riders.Â
Come spend time on your bike, find your flow, and strengthen our clinical community!
We are stepping out of the office and onto the saddle to experience the “connection cure”—using movement and social belonging to recharge our own mental batteries.
