Project Overview
The Contra Costa County Public Works Department (CCCPWD) is conducting a complete streets corridor study on Pacheco Boulevard between Blum Road and Shell Avenue (Martinez city limits), which is approximately 2.8 miles in length. This study explores the possibilities of dividing the public space in a way that provides safe access for all users, which includes pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users, and motorists. The intent of the study is to identify and prioritize the recommended improvements and prepare these projects for grant funding opportunities and future implementation. During the study development, we are seeking input from Pacheco Boulevard users and community members to participate in the public outreach process.
Public Outreach
As part of the study, the CCCPWD will host a community outreach workshop to provide the public with an opportunity to engage and participate in the planning efforts for the Pacheco Boulevard corridor. Community members are encouraged to share their feedback through a survey intended to gather public input on specific needs along the corridor.
Final Report and Pacheco Boulevard Survey Results
The final version of the Pacheco Boulevard Complete Streets Corridor Study, and information gathered from the public workshops and surveys, will be accessible online here.
