Even in the most progressive cities, building out the bike network takes a long time leaving many gaps for people to figure out for themselves.
The free Bike Streets app enables community members to identify and share their favorite bike routes, crowd-sourcing the low-stress network and helping new bike riders find the safest ways to get around.
At this webinar we will share info and tips on how to use and get the most out of the Bike Streets app, with the app developer Avi Stopper joining us as a special guest!
In particular, data collected in Bike Streets will be used to help inform the current Hayward Bike Plan update in 2027.
