Skyline Blvd Slide Damage – One Lane Open Feb 21

UPDATE (Feb 21) Open for through access in both directions (one lane only, one vehicle at a time, stop-controlled) by noon on Thursday February 21, one week earlier than projected.

UPDATE (Feb 15) Closure remains in effect. Through access in both directions (one lane only, one vehicle at a time, stopcontrolled) will be restored to ALL traffic by Feb 24. Details

UPDATE (Jan 18) ABSOLUTE CLOSURE! City officials have informed EBBC that Oakland Police will issue citations to bicyclists who cross through the construction zone. Warning signs are posted on all approaches.

UPDATE (Jan 14): Councilmember Jean Quan has appealed to all to respect the closure. Construction crews with the City, PG&E, and EBMUD have complained about individuals entering the area where they are operating heavy equipment.

UPDATE (Jan 11): According to Oakland Public Works, Skyline is closed at the slide to ALL traffic.
