Signature Gathering Kickoff for the Bay Area Transit Ballot Measure

January 23 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

To avoid devastating Bay Area transit service cuts, we need to gather 200,000 signatures to get Connect Bay Area, the regional transit funding measure enabled by SB63, on the ballot.

This is our all hands on deck moment: advocates are kicking off signature gathering with a day of action on Friday, January 23 starting with a rally in downtown San Francisco at 10 am, and carrying petitions via transit to signature training kickoff events in all five counties.

A diverse coalition of electeds, labor, business, and transit advocates from across Alameda, Contra Costa, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and San Francisco counties has come together to make this measure possible–and this is the day to start the signature gathering campaign strong.

RSVP online here so that Connect Bay Area can send you exact coordinates for the January 23rd event when they have them.

Event schedule:

    • 10 am Rally and Signature Gathering Kickoff in downtown San Francisco

    • 12pm Kickoff – tentatively near Pleasant Hill BART

    • 12:15pm Kickoff – tentatively near Redwood City Station

    • 12:30pm Kickoff – tentatively near San Jose Diridon
