This all-ages ride will following the Delta De Anza Trail east from Pittsburg / Bay Point BART, to join a brand new off-street trail along Railroad Ave
Date: Monday, November 10th, 2025
Time: 3pm, meet up at BART; 3:30pm, ride out; 4-5pm arrive at and participate in the grand opening celebration!
Start at: The Pittsburg / Bay Point BART station, front entrance plaza
Ride to: The Pittsburg Center eBART station, parking lot on Railroad Ave
Route: 3.6 miles one-way, route link here; After the event, participants may choose get on eBART for the trip home, or ride back the same way to the Pittsburg / Bay Point BART station
About the project:
This project adds more than 1.5 miles of new trails and pathways to Pittsburg, connecting several new developments to public transportation.
Off-street bike/walk trails with new lighting and landscaping were added at these locations:

- Parallel to south side of State Route 4 between the BART parking lot and Railroad Avenue
- South side of California Avenue between Harbor Street and Railroad Avenue
- West side of Railroad Avenue between Alvarado Avenue/ Delta de Anza Trail and State Route 4
