Until recently, every bicycle was powered the same way, with feet on pedals. Today, e-bikes, e-scooters, and other small electrically-powered devices are very popular. While the 3-class system for e-bikes has gained widespread adoption, it has not ended public and legislative interest in e-bike regulation.
In this webinar, the League of American Bicyclists features state advocates who are working to make the world safer for people who ride e-bikes and are dealing with unique legislative efforts to define what is an e-bike, what is not an e-bike, and what it means for low-speed electric devices to share space with people on bikes.
This is not a Bike East Bay webinar. For comments or questions please contact the organizers.
