Join Bike East Bay staff and local advocates for a flat, 5.5 mile bike ride from Dublin/Pleasanton BART along the Iron Horse Trail, to the grand opening & ribbon cutting for San Ramon’s newest bike/walk bridge along the Iron Horse Trail at Bollinger Canyon Road! This is a free and all-ages/abilities activity.
When & Where: Saturday, July 19, 2025

- 8am: Meet at the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station entrance (NOT West Dublin BART)
- 8:30am: Ride out as a group
- 9am: Arrive at San Ramon City Hall rotunda for remarks from elected officials (Bike East Bay will watch your bike while you are inside)
- 10am: Head next door to the Iron Horse Trail bridge for the ribbon cutting
- After the ribbon cutting: Folks are welcome to either return to BART via the Iron Horse Trail or join us to hang out at the plaza within Bishop Ranch City Center – Secure BikeLink lockers are on site, and there are plenty of drink/snack options
