Join the Bike Walnut Creek Bike Count Team

September 5, 2012 (All day)

Dear Cycling and Walking Friends, Bike Walnut Creek is recruiting volunteers to conduct Walnut Creek's first Bicycle and Pedestrian Count. The volunteers will sit at a pre-determined location for two hours, making a tally of all the people who pass by, their direction of travel, and their transportation mode (walk, bike, skateboard, etc). This is small commitment and an easy way to help, yet the sum of everybody's work will be a significant contribution. Why is a Bike/Ped Count beneficial?
