Oakland, Emeryville, and Berkeley all released protected bike lane designs last week and they are all looking pretty sweet. Or, as Bike East Bay Advocacy Director Dave Campbell puts it: “I have shockingly little to complain about!”
Bike East Bay members spoke up at community meetings, provided feedback, and wrote elected officials and the designs are better for it.
