At this public meeting, Lafayette staff and members of the public will review a“Long List” of solution ideas to help move traffic better in Downtown Lafayette, including possible new bike lanes on Mt. Diablo Road, cycle tracks on Oak Hill, 1st St, and School St, and new trails. The Committee may evaluate the inventory of ideas included in the List, suggest new ideas for inclusion, and indicate which of those ideas merit priority for further evaluation.
This is a great opportunity to make Downtown Lafayette more bikeable, and to tee up a terrific project for Bike East Bay’s Complete Street Program in the new Measure J reauthorization.
