Join the West Oakland Environmental Indicators Project and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission to learn about the West Oakland Link, a bike and walk path that will give West Oaklanders a new way to get around town car-free and connect to the bike paths along the waterfront and Bay Bridge.
In 2023 and 2024, they held a series of community information and design sessions to ensure resident voices were reflected in the trail’s design. At this session, project planners will share the latest designs, which are about 65% of the way complete. They have big updates to share about project funding and a change to the proposed route. You’ll be able to hear directly from the project designers, ask questions, and learn how you can help shape the Link.
