ACTION ALERT!: Join the interactive workshop to ask for protected bikeways for all of San Pablo Avenue. The current proposal only includes physical protection for part of the corridor, but not through Pinole‘s busy downtown.
Additional corridors such as Fitzgerald Drive and Pinole Valley Road should also be upgraded to protected bikeways, including at the I-80 interchanges as recommended in the Caltrans 2025 Bay Area Bike Plan update.
We are also asking for the plan to include a low-stress bikeway network map, to show how people will be able to get around using a combination of trails, protected bikeways, traffic calmed neighborhood streets, or other types of all ages and abilities facilities.
