Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) needs your input! We are developing a plan that looks at public space and how people will move around the county through 2050. As part of this broader effort, CCTA is co-creating a countywide Community-Based Transportation Plan (CBTP), which will identify transportation gaps and needs in specific areas throughout the county, and outline actions to address them.
We need your input to make sure that transportation within and between communities throughout the county is safer, smarter, more sustainable, equitable and accessible, especially for those who rely on public and active transportation to get around.
The focus areas for this plan are specific communities where targeted fixes – like safer crossings, enhanced walking and biking infrastructure, and more reliable and frequent transit connections – would make a big difference. By letting us know what changes you’d like to see, you’re helping create a locally led plan to develop livable and connected neighborhoods across Contra Costa County.
