Blocked bike lanes aren’t just frustrating—they’re dangerous. Join Bike Walk Alameda for a special introduction to Bike Lane Uprising, the grassroots tool used across the country to help cyclists document bike lane obstructions and turn everyday observations into powerful data for safer streets. Founder Christina Whitehouse will talk about this community-driven platform and how you can be part of the uprising.
When: Thursday, March 19, 6:30-8:00pm
Where: Phoenix (2315 Lincoln Avenue, Alameda), just north of the Main Library
Some bike parking will be available inside; there are also parking meters on Lincoln, bike racks at the library, and racks and few lockers at City Hall nearby.
This is a free event, but space is limited, so please RSVP with Bike Walk Alameda here.
