Our protected bikeway demo at Temescal Street Fair July 6 was a quite the hit. Thousands of people rode and walked by the demonstration bikeway, loved it, and immediately expressed support. Over 200 signed our petition in support of Telegraph bikeways, and our volunteers reached out to eight local businesses that day and secured their support for adding continuous, protected bikeways to Telegraph Avenue. To date, over 100 businesses are in support. A shout to Randy Reed, owner of Reed Brothers Security up the street from the demo, who came by with his daughter and thanks us for showing what an inviting bikeway can look like.
