From exploring artisan distilleries to enjoying scenic trails and discovering historical landmarks, there’s something for everyone.
📍 Alameda Terminals
Seaplane Lagoon, Main Street, Harbor Bay
Known as a vibrant hub at Alameda Point of artisan distilleries and tasting rooms, this is where you’ll find some of the Bay Area’s finest craft wines, beers, spirits, and cocktails. Whether you’re into gin, whiskey, or experimental brews, Spirits Alley offers a chance to explore local distilleries like St. George Spirits and The Rake Distillery. It’s an excellent spot for an afternoon tasting or even picking up a unique bottle to take home.
Harbor Bay Lagoon Loop & San Francisco Bay Trail
The Harbor Bay Lagoon Loop connects to the larger San Francisco Bay Trail, which extends 350 miles around the Bay. It’s an ideal place to get some fresh air and enjoy the surrounding nature—whether you’re walking or biking, it’s a beautiful way to spend a morning or afternoon.
📍 Oakland Terminal
A lively area filled with restaurants, shops, and waterfront attractions, Jack London Square has plenty to offer (bonus: it’s also home to the Bike East Bay office). Make sure to catch the Oakland Alameda Water Shuttle, running as a pilot service from Jack London Square to Alameda Landing, to extend your adventure!

📍 San Francisco Terminal
Ferry Building/The Embarcadero
Begin your journey at the Ferry Building and peruse gourmet food vendors, artisan shops, and pop-up boutiques. Grab a picnic spread of local cheeses, artisanal bread, and craft beverages to take on your bike ride along the Embarcadero’s multi-use path. Stop by multiple landmarks along the waterfront as you learn about the city’s history and maritime heritage.
A scenic, short bike ride north of the Downtown S.F. terminal, the Fisherman’s Wharf district offers dining, shopping, and entertainment for all ages. Whether you want to see the famous sea lions lounging on the docks, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy a meal with a view of the Bay, Pier 39 is a must-visit location when in San Francisco.
