Dear Friends of Alex
We want to let you know that Alex passed away yesterday Sunday August 5th 2007 at the age of 86. He died peacefully in his sleep in the care of family in his home at Chaparral House in Berkeley. Alex’s spirit was alive and well until the very end. Despite physical limitations in his later years his inner essence remained intact and we enjoyed tremendously rich times together as a family. He felt our love and he felt all the love and support of his friends and his extended family. He will truly be missed. We want to once again thank all of you who have been with him on this journey.
We will be holding a memorial service for Alex to which all his family friends and colleagues are invited (See Below). We will post further information on Alex’s website in the near future. Please forward this message to folks that knew Alex.
There is a memory book you can sign at the top of the web page if you’d like to send your well wishes to the Family or perhaps contribute a memory to share. There is a place to leave your e-mail address there as well if you’d like to be contacted about the memorial.
Peace and love
-Ron & Dave
