PedalFest will be the most amazing bike event the East Bay has ever seen. We need your help to make sure everyone has a great time, stays safe and comes away knowing a little more about the good work of the East Bay Bicycle Coalition. This will be one of the East Bay Bicycle Coalition’s biggest fundraisers of the year as all the proceeds from the two New Belgium Beer Gardens will be split between the EBBC and Walk Oakland Bike Oakland.
Sign up now for your favorite volunteer role and help the East Bay Bicycle Coalition make this event a success! There are many ways to plug in, and something for everyone.
As a token of our thanks each volunteer will get a beer token, a burrito lunch, and other great perks.
Here’s how you can help:
- Outreach - Do you love to talk to people about biking? This is your chance to use your gift of gab to build our cause by signing up new EBBC and WOBO members. If you have come to one of our Outreach Trainings please sign up to help us out.
- Set-up - Help bring PedalFest to life! Join the EBBC team down by the Jack London Waterfront at 8:00 AM to help set up all the great events that PedalFest has to offer. In addition to all the perks listed above, set-up volunteers will enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee.
- Break-down - After the crowds have gone home, we’ll need your help to quickly and safely dismantle the soundstage and valet bike parking. Lasting from 5:00pm-6:00pm, this is our shortest shift but one of our most important.
