Please keep your comments short and respectful, and share information from your personal perspective about why this project is important to you.

This project will add a concrete-protected 2-way bikeway from the Oakland border at Adeline Street 1.4 miles to Christie Ave, providing an all ages/abilities connection to the Bay Bridge trail, the Bay Trail, the Bay Street Mall, and many destinations in between. It also includes many pedestrian safety enhancements, dedicated bus lanes and upgraded bus stops, as well as new blue curb parking spots and dedicated paratransit pick up/drop off zones to help address accessibility concerns raised during the project development process.
Despite a community input process that has been ongoing since 2018, the project remains controversial among some business owners who have taken issue with several full or partial side-street car diverters, which are included with the project to reduce vehicle turn movements across the cycletrack and enhance safety. The city has studied these issues and provided mitigations.
