We’re only a few days away from the Nov. 4 election and $1 Billion for better bicycling and walking is on the line – can you volunteer with us one more time? While we have great support, recent polling suggests it will be a close race, and we need your help now more than ever to make sure our supporters turn out the vote!
Join us at our old office – 495 Embarcadero West, between the hours of 10am and 5pm to make phone calls or hit the streets to distribute door-hangers in Oakland neighborhoods. Bike East Bay members and other cyclists will be riding up to North Oakland neighborhoods. Snacks and water provided, please bring comfortable shoes and clothes for walking.
Saturday – 10am – 2pm, 2pm – 5pm, door-hanging or phone banking
Sunday – 10am – 2pm, 2pm – 5pm, door-hanging or phone banking
Monday – door-hanging 10am – 2pm, 2pm – 5pm, phone banking 5pm – 8:30pm
