Want to see more bike/ped bridges get built over freeways and busy roadways in Contra Costa? Plan first–then build
Now through April is cyclists’ time to ask the Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) for ‘big-ticket’ bike projects in the upcoming Contra Costa Countywide Transportation Plan-a 25-year planning document that guides what gets built. We are looking for “big ticket” projects of at least $1 million here.

Please attend one of the upcoming meetings in Antioch, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, San Pablo and Orinda. Let the CCTA know that you support important bikeway projects in the Countywide Transportation Plan. You can also contact your local city bicycle planner (or transporation planner) and ask them to submit ‘Big Ticket’ bikeway projects for the Plan. |
