As many of you know, EBBC is a long-time member and supporter of the Measure DD Coalition in Oakland. This 2002 bond measure raised nearly $200 million for parks and recreation projects in Oakland, among them the replacement of the “world’s shortest freeway” across the 12th Street Dam with bicycle & pedestrian-friendly city streets.
