Yes, you read that right. In honor of their new downtown Walnut Creek Shop, “Bike Book and Hatchet,” Rivendell is donating this year an authentic hatchet made by GRÄNSFORS BRUK, a tiny hatchet maker in Sweden, and creator of some of the best ones in the world. The 13 and a half inches long hatchet has a hickory handles and forged steel head, and is made and signed by a single hatchet-maker.
