Signature Gathering at Oakland Coliseum BART – East Bay Bike Party
To avoid devastating Bay Area transit service cuts, we need to gather over 200,000 signatures to get Connect Bay Area Transit, the five-county regional transit funding measure, on the ballot!
Participants will meet at Coliseum BART at 6:30pm for a quick training and to hand out petition supplies. After that, stick around to gather signatures from East Bay Bike Party (EBBP) attendees. People will start showing up for EBBP at 7:30 and the party rolls at 8, so that window is the best time to collect signatures.
​**No packet exchanges at this event please** EBBP is very chaotic and the campaign organizers don’t want to lose track of any filled out petitions​
***¡¡Please note!!*** East Bay Bike Party can be an extremely overstimulating environment. If flashing lights and loud noises are not your thing, this particular event may not be for you.
No experience necessary. You just need to be 18 years old to gather signatures. If you’re under 18, let the event organizers know at connectbayarea26@gmail.com as there are many other ways to be involved and help!
