The General Manager and Board of Directors of East Bay Regional Park District invite you to a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the beginning of the Point Molate Bay Trail Extension Project.

Where: Point Molate Beach Park Staging Area, 527 Stenmark Drive, Richmond, CA 94801
This project has been many years in the making. The new Bay Trail segment will connect directly to the East Bay landing of the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge Trail, further highlighting the importance of keeping the trail open 24/7 to allow for full car-free public access to this upcoming trail and beach park.

This collaboration between East Bay Regional Park District and the City of Richmond adds more than 2.5 miles of publicly accessible multi-use ADA compliant trail at Point Molate Beach Park in Richmond, connecting Richmond-San Rafael Bridge to the City of Richmond’s Point Molate Beach Park and the Historic Winehaven District.
