Bicycle Boulevard Implementation
There was a lengthy discussion of Dave Campbell’s proposal to study designs for intersection improvements of boulevards with arterials. A berkeley bike map was studied and intersections identified that needed significant safety and access improvements. This list may be useful in developing intersection design options. There was consensus to make a recommendation to the Transportation Commission to direct staff to move forward on identifying consultant funding and start the process to develop designs for intersection improvements on the boulevards.
Adjournment at 6:30pm. Next Meeting: September 24, 2009, 5:00-6:30pm
Respectfully submitted,
Dave Campbell
