Farmcycles: Free bike clinics, every 3rd Sunday of the month, 12-2pm. Free community access to tools available during Makerfarm open hours.
Berkeley
Waterside Workshops has a Community Open Shop where you can use tools and fix your bikes. Open on Saturdays, 12-6pm. Free, with a suggested donation of $10. Bike repair and maintenance services are also offered here.
Biketopia (Berkeley) offers their tools and repair stands for $15 a day. They also have staff on-hand to teach bike maintenance skills and help with repair questions. Bike repair and maintenance services are also offered here. They also have a second location in Emeryville.
Concord
Concord Bike Kitchen: Pop-up community bike repair clinic, open first and third Saturdays, 11am-2:45pm.
Emeryville

hayward
Free pop-up bike repair through Bike East Bay and Hayward Rides offered every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month at the Hayward Farmer’s Market through the end of 2026.
Oakland Library’s The Bike Fix does free minor repairs and provides tools and some supplies Wednesdays 2:30-5pm at MLK Jr. Branch and Fridays from 2:30-5pm at 81st Avenue Branch.
Spokeland is a co-op that offers self-service repairs and guided “Do it Together” repairs for as low as $5-$10 per hour. Check out their mechanic mentor program for a chance to get paired with a bike mechanic to learn skills!
The Bikery (through Cycles of Change) is a non-profit community bike shop that offers lower-cost bike repair services, bicycles, and bicycle parts. Open Wednesday-Saturday, 11am-5pm. Free bikes can be earned by completing Cycles of Change’s Oakland Upcycle’s program.
