Bike to The Moon

May 10-14, 2021

The Alameda County Safe Routes to Schools (SR2S) program invites you to join as we Bike to the Moon! During this week-long event, students, families, school staff, and community members will track their miles and minutes of physical activity with the goal of collectively “biking” all the way to the moon, which is 286,900 miles away! “Moon miles” can be earned by participating in activities including biking, walking, rolling, taking transit, and learning about bike safety.

Check if your school is enrolled in the SR2S program here. If not (or you’re not in school), you can still sign up to Bike to the Moon. Click below to sign up!
