Hey Peeps!

Castro Valley Adult School (cvadult.org) has opened registration for their Beginning and Intermediate Road Cycling Classes beginning January 23rd. Everyone’s suggested to take the Beginning class first. This is a five star class as rated by the students. When you finish these classes you will have the knowledge of an experienced club cyclist with more than 3 years of experience without having been in any crashes or accidents. This is super.

You will learn to solve roadway and traffic problems on-the-fly so you can get to where you want to go safely and with the least amount of delay or risk. Included you will learn to make emergency repairs, adjustments, selecting proper equipment, using tools, servicing your bike and making adjustments including fitting. We cover on-the-road pedaling, cadence, braking, climbing, descending, gearing. We also cover wet weather riding techniques, night riding, group riding and some commuting. The aim is to provide you with behaviors and skills to reduce your accident rate by 90% and we are on track to achieve these results.

Find the class under community interest, and see you there. -wynn
