1. Bike-To-Work Day Promo Ads in the East Bay Express:
Your bike shop will be listed with logo and address in each of THREE half-page promo ads that will run April 15, April 22, and April 29. Your shop will be listed as a “Commute-Ready Bike Shop.” Each promo ad will also highlight Bike-To-Work Day and related events leading up to May 14. (Please see the attached ad from last year’s event.) We’re limiting this offer to the first 10 shops that sign up. If you’re interested, please call me at (510) 701-5971 or e-mail me at [email protected] with your commitment and we’ll finalize the details from there. We have a deadline of Friday, April 10, 2009, for these promo ads. Cost to you: $250.00.
2. Four-Page Pullout in the May 6 Bike-To-Work Day Guide of the East Bay Express:
You’ll get a full quarter-page all to your own in the May 6 issue of the East Bay Express. The Guide includes all the information that cyclists will need to get ready for the big day, including a map of energizer station information, and details about our Bike-Away-From Work Party on Bike-To-Work Day, 5:30-8:30 PM in the Temescal District of Oakland. We have a deadline of April 30, 2009, for this quarter-page ad offer. Cost to you: $625.00.
3. Bike Shop Sponsored Raffle Prizes:
We’ll provide you with a Bike-To-Work Day Tote Bag made from old Bike-To-Work Day vinyl banners and you stuff them with great bike gear from your bike shop. The tote bags with your goodies will be raffled off at the Bike-Away-From Work Party on Thursday, May 14 and we will of course acknowledge your donation to the crowd of hundreds that we expect at this event. If you can make a generous donation of tote bag goodies, let me know and we’ll send one of our volunteers over to load up.
