Black Girls Do Bike
It’s like a pep rally for black girls on bikes!
Blackgirlsdobike.com’s interest is in growing and supporting a community of women of color who share a passion for cycling. We champion efforts to introduce the joy of cycling to all women, but especially, black women and girls. We are establishing a comfortable place where female cyclists can support, advise, organize meet-ups/rides and promote skill-sharing. We look to share positive images of ladies and their bikes that affirm the truth that black girls do indeed bike! We support bike advocacy, awareness, education and safety in all communities and corners of the world.
Gals with Gears
We are women over 50 and tired of being the only Gals pulling up on bikes at intersections! (No, you don’t have to be over 50 to join - just have to want to ride with us – that’s it!). Join Gals With Gears for fun, healthy and practical cycling in San Francisco and nearby - with women our own age! Surely you’ve noticed all those white lanes, green zones and bicycles painted on the streets? Come ride with us! Basic riding skills and helmet required.

Feather Pedals
The Feather Pedals is a no cost cycling group within the Valley Spokesmen that organizes group ride opportunities for women. Men are welcome to join the rides too! Feather Pedals is a group guided by the fundamental values of achievement, encouragement, and leisure cycling. The name “Feather Pedals” was created to describe a “lighter” or slower-to-moderate speed casual riding group for all levels of riders.
Ride Like A Girl
Bicycle Trails Council of the East Bay (BTCEB) has a group ride for women only on the first Saturday of the month. The emphasis of these rides is to have fun and to meet other women who love to ride.
