Cynthia Armour started working with Bike East Bay during the 2012 Measure B1 campaign, fighting for more funding for bike/ped projects in the East Bay. Since then, she has led the organization of several Bike to Work Days and became in 2015 Bike East Bay’s Advocacy Manager.
You’ll find her working primarily outside of the Northern Alameda urban core campaigning for complete streets, supporting new leadership in city-level partner advocacy groups, and advocating for an equitable East Bay expansion of Bay Area Bikeshare.
Cynthia rediscovered the joy of bicycling when studying in Paris via the bikeshare program Velib, and previously worked with UC Berkeley, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, and Zipcar.
