KEEP A LOOKOUT -- Theft at Embarcadero Bike Station

From Gene Oh of Alameda Bicycle, operator of the Embarcadero Bike Station:

"We had a bike theft [at Embarcadero BART Bike Station] on New Year's Day. As a reminder, please lock your bike frame to the bike rack as we [Alameda Bicycle] will be consistent with BART policy and not be responsible for stolen property. The stolen bike had a front wheel locked to the rack, so the thief left the front wheel and took another bike's wheel!
