BART presents new train car designs

BART presents new train car designs

New design features include more door access, more handholds and more space for seniors and the disabled. What do you think of the new design?

BART is giving its board members and riders a glimpse into the future.

One aspect of the new design is a clearer signage for the bicycle area, which the East Bay Bicycle Coalition says is a good idea — but the group is hoping for additional changes like “leaning” areas for cyclists and other BART riders.
