On Thursday June 22nd, the BART Board will debate making BART a sanctuary transit system through the Safe Transit Policy. We want to have as many folks as possible from Bike East Bay come voice their support for Safe Transit!
BART and Bike East Bay are providing bike valet at Ashby BART for Warriors fans traveling to the parade! Get there early! We have ~150 spots, plus room for cargo bikes.

Berkeley Bike Plan Public Meeting at the Downtown Berkeley Public Library Community Room, Monday April 27 from 4:30 to 7:30. The meeting will be an open house format, with stations for various topics that attendees can visit to provide input.

March’s meeting of the Berkeley Bicycle Subcommittee will report on existing conditions as well as a preview of the April public workshop to kick off the bike plan update. We’ll provide an update on the public opinion survey process although won’t have any data to present at that point.
Please join us and get involved to make Berkeley’s bike plan not only the best in the US, but a model for other cities in the East Bay to follow.
