Emeryville approves $680,000 bridge design contract

On November 17th the Emeryville City Council approved an additional $680,000 in local expenditures to design the "Interstate 80 Pedestrian Bicycle Bridge".

Tuesday, November 17th the Emeryville Redevelopment Agency will decide whether to fund an additional $500,000 for planning of the proposed standalone ped/bike bridge over I-80 at 65th Street, connecting to the Bay Trail. The connection to Berkeley and Oakland is via Woolsey Street (a potential Bicycle Boulevard). The meeting starts at 7pm.
