Bike Walnut Creek needs 25 volunteers to spend 2 hours counting bicyclists and pedestrians around the city. The data collected helps us understand bicycle users, which helps us advocate for better facilities. Please reserve at least one of these dates to help us: April 29, 30, May 1 (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) from 5 to 7pm.

Measure BB is a better version of 2012’s Measure B1, and retains a 4-fold increase in bike/ped funding in every city and unincorporated area of the County.

How would you like to see green bike lanes on Olympic Blvd, especially around the 680 underpass? Or making Lincoln Ave a Bike Boulevard? This can happen … if you participate in the next Transportation Commission meeting - tomorrow, Thursday, January 16, from 6-8pm at City Hall. 
 
Other locations the city would like to improve in the next two years: Lincoln, Buena Vista, Cedro, Newell, Wiget / Blackstone, and Creekside. Read the full description at the bottom of this email.
