Volunteer Night

Please come on down to the EBBC office this Wednesday for Volunteer Night. This time we'll be writing thank you notes to all the generous Bike To Work Day donors and recording all our new members in our database (EBBC continues to grow!). As usual, you'll get free dinner and fine conversation amongst of your fellow EBBC members. Join us! Our offices are in the Fruitvale Village adjacent the Fruitvale BART station - we're right next to the Bike Station.

EBBC "Free Bike" Volunteer Night

Wednesday Nights in April are Volunteer Nights at the EBBC Office, 5:00-8:00pm 3301 E. 12th, Suite 143 in the Fruitvale Village next to the Fruitvale Bikestation. Join us for pizza and cold beverages and help prepare for Bike to Work Day when EBBC will give away 6000 new bikes! *

* New bikes come in four neon colors and can be fastened to your lapel and operated without a helmet.

Federal Complete Streets Act of 2009

In 2008 the Complete Streets Act came within a handful of votes from passing. This year, we have a real opportunity to garner sufficient votes in support of the Complete Streets Act of 2009 introduced in Congress by Senator Thomas Harkin (D-IA) and Representative Doris Matsui (D-CA).
