Bike Hoppin' on Linden Street

November 15, 2009 - 12:00pm to 3:00pm

This year we’re helping to making our own beer for our holiday party, Velo Wonderland. Join the East Bay Bicycle Coalition at the Linden Street Brewery on Sunday, November 15 for an afternoon of brewing EBBC’s Velo Wonderland Winter Lager. Enjoy BBQ lunch, beer and sodas on us as thanks for your hard labor of keg hauling and wort mashing. This is a child-friendly event, feel free to bike on down with your family.

Location: 95 Linden Street, Oakland
Just off of 3rd St and a few blocks down from Jack London Square.

EBBC is grateful to Linden Street Brewery for hosting Bike Hoppin’ and their generous donation to Velo Wonderland. You can read more about their commitment to bicycling, including their new cargo bike for deliveries, in the latest edition of rideOn.

EBBC always encourages responsible drinking and bicycling.

Climate Ride Training Ride Number 2

March 3, 2013 - 9:00am to 3:00pm

Our second training ride will take past San Pablo Dam, through Pinole and Rodeo, and over the Carquinez Bridge, then crossing along the bay to Benicia, partly along our old friend the Bay Trail. After lunch in Benicia we'll cross the bridge on a bike lane that Alex Zuckerman and the EBBC fought for over a twenty-year period. Then we go through some industrial areas as we wend our way over to the North Concord BART station. Consider that last part an advocacy ride--asking the question: How could we make this route better for cyclists?
