This computer graphics simulation shows how the BART-eBART transfer station would work. eBART uses modern European DMU running at conventional track, providing BART-level performance that is an order of magnitude less expensive.

The City's engineer, Joe Sbranti, has promised that the widening of California Ave, between Loveridge Rd and Harbor St, will receive marked shoulders on each side, each shoulder being 2 feet wide. This is a "big win" for Pittsburg and East County cyclists. As you may recall, engineers have just added 4 traffic lanes to SR 4 for a total of 8 lanes, and now Pittsburg is planning to widen California Ave from 2 lanes to 5 lanes total.
