Poorly maintained pavement and lack of shoulder

Assigned to:Unassigned
Created:wynnk at July 21, 2010 - 1:58pm
Status: (Class II (bike lane) / Priority major)
Case ID:: -7335

direction

southbound

type

pothole or pavement cracks

Location

Fremont Blvd south of Cushing Parkway`
Fremont
US

description

In the southbound direction of Fremont Blvd south of Cushing Parkway the roadway surface is cracked and uneven causing elevated increase of loss of control by cyclists. Also, their is an engineered lack of roadway width allowing for a wide shoulder on the roadway. The road can easily be widened to include a shoulder and even pavement. This would provide cyclists a better cycling environment where higher speed overtaking traffic exists.
