description

It is a 2006 Specialized Hardrock Pro Bike. It is the black/gray colored bicycle. Had a small pouch under the seat for storing stuff from Livermore cyclery. Had a water bottle holder, a holder for a small air pump and it had a spedometer on the handle bars. It was very dusty as it had just been ridden up the Plesanton ridge.

Consider some facts:

  • Popular bikeway between Pleasanton-Sunol and Calaveras Roads (no alternative route)
  • Traffic exiting I-680
  • No shoulder.

I-80 San Pablo Dam Road Interchange Project (AKA "I-80 Bikeway)

The signed I-80 Bikeway extends from near El Cerrito del Norte BART to Rodeo. However, there is no legal way for southbound bicyclists to make a left turn from San Pablo Dam Rd onto Amador Street. For over a decade EBBC members have spoken out in support of improving this critical gap. Now you can share your opinions on the proposed improvement plans!
