Family Ride - Alameda Bicycle

August 3, 2014 - 10:00am to 12:00pm

Open for kids of all ages. Take a slow cruise with us around Alameda, a different route every time, and end at Tucker’s Ice Cream for free ice cream. We’ll split up into two or three groups to ensure the proper pace for everyone, helmets required.

Meet at Alameda Bicycle at 10:00 am, we’ll be at Tucker’s by 11:45 am. Did we mention the free ice cream yet?

  • FAST – Perfect speed for kiddos on training wheels and scoot bikes. A brisk walking pace.

Flat Tire Clinic - Alameda Bicycle

Our free clinic is a perennial favorite! Just bring yourself and wheel or entire bike - we’ll provide the tools and education to increase your confidence in changing a flat tire.  You can do it!

The City of Richmond is planning a lunchtime bike ride every Friday in May, which is bike month! Each week they’ll roll out to a different scenic spot to have a picnic lunch. Pack yourself a sandwich or grab something at the farmer’s market and meet up at 12:00 noon on the steps in front of City Hall, 450 Civic Center Plaza.
