Go Solar with Sungevity and Support the EBBC!
Just like riding your bike, converting your home to clean, solar energy is an effective way to reduce your carbon footprint. We’ve partnered with Sungevity to offer a solar lease program that allows energy-conscious consumers to switch to solar without the upfront cost. In addition, for every new customer that signs up through our EBBC page, Sungevity makes a donation to EBBC.

About Sungevity and EBBC’s partnership
Sungevity has a track record of partnering with local non-profits to engage their networks while raising funds to support their work. The EBBC in particular has very close ties to Sungevity – we are office neighbors, being both located in Oakland’s Jack London Square, and Sungevity’s office makes a point of providing a very bike friendly work environment for their employees. Sungevity was our Bike Friendly Business award winner in 2012 (read the story here!) and is a long time supporter of EBBC and sponsor of Bike to Work Day. The founder and president of Sungevity, Danny Kennedy (pictured!), bikes to work almost everyday from his home, as do at least a third of the companies employees.
