Promote Bike Safety! hand out a “Check for Bikes” Vinyl Clings

Author: bcomadmin

Date: March 17, 2012

Albany Strollers & Rollers ask you to help promote bike safety while raising awareness of bicyclists on the road by handing out “Check For Bikes” vinyl clings to motorists and encouraging them to install them in their car windshield or give/sell to your friends, neighbors, customers, clients and members.

The Albany Strollers & Rollers have designed this effective solution to the challenge of reminding motorists to look before opening their car door. The vinyl clings are clear, removable stickers that motorists place on their inside windshield where the oil change reminder is located. They are also effective as a general awareness tool to share the road with bicyclists. The whole idea is to promote awareness, safe driving and bike safety to the driving public. We hope that you will put one or two on your windshield and share a few with friends.

The bottom line of the vinyl cling can be customized for any group or business. You can distribute them to your customers or clients as is or with your name on the bottom line.
Fellow Coalition Partners & Affiliated Clubs: the manufacturer can create clings featuring any organization or club and you can distribute them at your events and through local businesses!
Individual EBBC members: make them up with your business’ name and use them as a marketing tool, while helping promote bike safety.

Go to Check for Bikes dot Org for more details and contact Amy Smolens of the Albany Strollers & Rollers.
