Many thanks to all who came out to Jack London Square Saturday Aug 18 and became a part of our wildly successful 2nd annual Pedalfest celebration.  Everywhere you turned it seemed there was something cool going on and there were crowds of happy cyclist enjoying themselves.  Chris Clark wowed the crowds with his stunts, the Clayton Bikes BMX crew were flying through the air, Scraper Bikes were on the scene, the Pedal-powered sound stage was rocking out, yummy treats were being served up by biking vendors and tasty New Belgium brews were being enjoyed by all. Here at the East Bay Bicycle Coalition we are working to take a simple solution to the problems our planet and our cities face – bicycling – and build a community of joy and connection around it.  On Saturday we saw that community in action here in the East Bay.  We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
