Road Cycling Beginning. This is the real deal!

When people ride bikes great things happen. Lets do it together. 49% of all trips are 3 miles or less and are perfect for riding your bike. This five week, ten hour first cycling class is designed to solve the problem of being interested about riding a bike and concerned about safety. You will be taught by a popular and caring cycling instructor and coached on what works on the road. The figuring out part is eliminated. You get right into learning to ride with traffic, recognize and solve traffic flow problems as they occur, select equipment that will save you money, perform repairs, and service your bike so it is reliable. You will have fun learning easy cycling, proper technique, and not get stressed by what is happening around you. You acquire all of these skills in just a few weeks. To register you need to know how to ride a bike. Bring a multi-geared bike in good repair, and helmet to each meeting for a ride. Wynn Kageyama of Ventana Edu is a certificated cycling instructor with League of American Bicyclists and the Cycling Education Chair for Fremont Freewheelers Bicycle Club. He is also a trained club bike mechanic.
